Moschino

Photographed by Peter Lindbergh. Of course the ad caught my eye because of all the Black models. Apparently, it's part of a series. There are "Asian" and "White" versions too. I'm always happy to see black models getting work but this feels kind of gimmicky. I miss seeing beautiful dark-skinned girls in fashion magazines.

My only question about this ad is why is one black model naked.

omg! I came here to say how much I loooved the ad and how I intend to borrow (steal :)) the pic and use on my blog...crediting you of course...but chic noir called attention to the great big pink elephant in the room. What the heck IS that all about. I tell 'ya. I've got no words...such a shame :(

I don't really know why she's naked unless they are really trying to draw your eye to those red shoes. That really doesn't affect me, models are frequently nude in ads. It's the "spirit" of the campaign that disappoints me.

Wow, there is something VERY disurbing about this photo. I hate the way women are exploited to sell merchandise. If it was to draw attention to the shoes, I must have passed the bill. . .

i thin its a beautiful photo, the nudity is not distasteful or crude. I appreciate it for what it is.
