Herve Leger Must be Stopped!

Herve Leger designed one hell of a little sexy dress didn't he? I mean it is rare that one garment could look this hot and flatter a multitude of body types but please ladies, for the sake of the children, please stop wearing these bandage dresses on the red carpet! It's right up there with Hypercolor clothing, the "grunge" look, Hammer pants, acid washed jeans and white men being the President of the United States of America...played out.

I know you love them but it's time to put them back in the closet. If you don't let go of this trend, it will never have a resurgence ten years from now.

"...white men being the President of the United States of America...played out." That was hilarious!

I hate these dresses. They look way too constrictive and very uncomfortable.

As a white man, I LOOOOVED what you said about the presidency and if I could argue it, I would, but I'm right there with you! What a hoot!

As for the dresses, do you think when they get home and take it off, they're body expands and they say "whew! Thank GOD!"

Tired is as tired does I guess.

Yes please. I though the very same thing the other day when I saw that pic of Cassie. As amazing as this dress is, it's just overkill now.

I think those dresses look better from a distance than up-close. I was less impressed when I clicked on the images for a larger view. But I think Cassie and Christina look the best.

All I can think of is how uncomfortable it would be to sit down in any of those dresses. Ow, ow, ow!

@ohnochriso

I had one of those dresses 10 years ago (I'm still kicking myself for not hanging onto it.) IIRC, it was snug but stretchy enough so that sitting wasn't a problem. They're made by a different company now so I have no idea how the newer ones fit.

Girls with he right body can definitely WORK IT...

I love the dresses as long as the right people wear them

* gives a side eye to J. Hudson, notorious for trying to wear "skinny" girl clothes *
