...I don't like it. Maybe it's the exaggerated fro I hate. I really like her, but the only magazine cover that she has which I like is the i-D cover. Oh well. I'm just glad to see her racking up the covers and editorials. Now, If she could get just get an Ad........
...DUNN is too gorgeous for this mess. The afro is overplayed and she does nothing to flatter her amazing face! The girl seriously needs an AD CAMPAIGN...After an AMAZING SEASON, countless covers etc she still hasn't snatched a well known ad. It's truly startling.
I like it, I think she looks stunning although the massive afro looks out of proportion with her thin body. I am not sure if they have exaggerated her head or made her look thinner than usual. Other than that she looks stunning and great to see her in a new look other than the long straight hair.
It's like she was told the following by the photographer "Okay dahling lean forward, hunch your back, and part your legs but keep your knees together. No Daaaaahling part your legs farther. YES! NO! (rolls eyes) Knees together, knees together." Photographer to assistant, "Naomi is not herself today, no? Do something with her hands"
Assistant walks over and whispers in Jourdan's ear "He just called you Naomi, now hold this pen like it was a knife and think about where it would land"
Photographer "I like that. We are Vogue-ing even though this is Elle but I like. Perfect Naomi. FanTAHstEEic we are done"
Love the cover! I will be buying it as soon as I visit a newsstand. Retro and mod at the same time. And, I wholeheartedly agree with EVERYONE who's suggested that this girl needs an ad. She was featured in the "TopShop" advertisements late last year. So far, that's been it for her. But she needs to go mainstream. Wasn't she the first Black model used on the Prada runway show in 10 years? Well Miuccia needs to take that declaration to the next level! It's the year of "Change" and "Hope" and I truly hope that continued diversity in fashion is the consistent change of the future. Let's pray that all of this publicity of color is not just a reverberant fad of the recent presidential election. Let's hope that this trend infiltrates the industry so much that the representation of color becomes commonplace practice and doesn't taper down in a year or so.
I've gotta admit that I love BIG hair. Really. big. afros. The juxtaposition of her big hair on top of her slim body reminds me of typical fashion illustration art. So I've got no problems with it.
I almost forgot, both Jourdan & Chanel appeared in the Gap ads prior to Xmas. So TopShop wasn't the only ad she's been in. Apologies for the misinformation. In all truthfulness, Jourdan needs to scope up a cosmetic contract.
Jourdan Dunn - a black girl on a French cover ! You can't imagine !! Last time that the french Elle shooted a black girl for a cover was ....3 or 4 years ago . You can't imagine how proud i was when I saw this . Here in Paris it's a phenomenom
I love it so much. The guys above me dissapoint me so much; and sound kind of stupid. If you were in London, you would see how accepted and loved natural hair is.

I love it. It is fabulous. She needs more ads but slowly but surely
Estee (sp) Lauder or Prada would be an amazing campaign for Dunn...she's so regal, its mind blowing.

@Safera: HA! Happy New Year to you too!
That afro is large but I agree with Ondo Lady, it's nice to see hair on a black model that isn't a bone straight weave.
Love it and I'm so going to buy it.Agree with anon about Jourdan needing an ad campaign.

She looks flawless! Absolutely flawless!
