Via Style FileIt appears that the alarming rumor going around fashion town that Andrea Leon Talley was enlisted by Michelle Obama to be her new stylist was just that, a horrifying rumor.
The man himself told Derek Blasberg, "let me go on record saying that I have never, ever given her any advice on what to wear," and added "think that Michelle Obama does not need advice."
Thank G-d for small miracles. Don't get me wrong, I love ALT and he certainly performed a miracle on Renee Zellweger when he started styling her for the red carpet, but Captain Capeman is the last person I want advising our dear Michelle.
She obviously already knows what works for her and has been doing a fine job getting dressed every morning.
That said, part of me would have loved to see what ensemble he would have come up with for the inauguration. I've got visions of a turban, fur, and ostrich skin dancing in my head.

He does not know how to dress black women. Matter fact, long since he been with Vouge ,I have seen less and less black women in that Mag.
Thank goodness...every since I saw him mess Jennifer Hudson up for the Academy Awards, I was too through.
