This is why I gave up magazine subscriptions and reading them other than flipping through them in the grocery line..
I just can't afford it!!! And I don't want to lust after something I never wanted before.
I know what you mean. It's rare that I actually see something in those magazines that I have to have. Most of the time I'll try to imitate some of the outfits using lower priced pieces...or pray that something I like trickles down to Nordstrom Rack or some other discounter.
That's what I do, I get ideas and copy them or have some type of form of the original. To spend $200 on a t-shirt is just stupid to me.....I can wear a $20 dress I found at the 2nd hand store and get compliments all day. I see Lindsey Lohan in some $10,000 outfit and it looks like it came from Walmart.
As always, it's not what you wear, but how you wear it.
We need models on the covers again.
